Civil War Souvenirs

Saturday, July 11th, 2009

I am a big American history buff, and my favorite period of all is the Civil War. Don’t misunderstand what I mean : I might give anything to be ready to buy authentic souvenirs from that period, but there’s simply no way I’d be ready to afford such items. As a consequence, I typically ended up paying far too much for goods that wasn’t even of decent quality.

After that, I started making much smarter choices about my purchases, and my collection actually started to take off. Over time, I have found a few online shops that consistently offer a wide variety of quality products at competitive costs. I mostly the majority of these stores also offer acceptable accessories, for example customised frames for posters and prints, or display cases for weapons. I should say that my collection gets a lot of compliments from my visitors and guests.

Many of them even go as far as to ask where they can get copies of two my pieces. Since these are all just reproductions anyhow, I do not mind sharing my methods with anyone that’s interested.
